Episode 93: What does the law say about taking Greenland and the Panama Canal?

Does the U.S. Constitution ALLOW #donaldtrump to take Greenland or the Panama Canal? Is this legal? In this episode, we go back to the Country's founding document to determine what our Founding Fathers intended for obtaining and annexing land. We know we've admitted 50 States into the Union, including through the Louisiana Purchase, but what happens now? Would the taking of Greenland be a declaration of war against Denmark?

Currently Greenland is an autonomous territory of Denmark, so what does the European Union think of this threat? What about the Panama Canal? It belongs to the country of Panama. And what about Canada? Can Trump take these territories with military force as our Commander and Chief, or does Congress have to issue a Declaration of War?
