Israel's legislature, the Knesset, just passed a constitutional amendment limiting the power of Israel's Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is poised to strike down this new judicial reform. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Biden have exchanged heated words about the new law, with President Biden suggesting the reforms undermine Israel's democracy.

But does it undermine democracy? How is Israel's new amendment different or similar to those in the United States? How, exactly, does Israel's government compare to our own and that of Britain? What will happen if Israel's Supreme Court strikes it down?
